AVP proud to be associated with CTV's outstanding Olympic Coverage

The 2010 Winter Olympic Games were a resounding success for Canadians, with Canada's record setting Olympic gold rush providing many thrills along the way, and finished off with an Olympic Men's hockey gold medal game that was truly a Winter Games highlight. As official Olympic broadcaster, CTV's coverage throughout the games was comprehensive, informative and entertaining, and AVP is proud to have been associated with this event, as the sole supplier of jackfields and bulkhead panels for CTV's Olympic broadcast.

AVP CEO Dan Baker remarked: "This is a wonderful way to celebrate our 25th year in the broadcast industry. To be a part of the Olympic broadcast system for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games is a notable highlight in the history of our company and we thank the Consortium for choosing us as their partner."

Allan Morris, CTV Vice President of Engineering also endorsed the partnership. "AVP products are utilized in many of our CTV facilities across Canada. When it came time to outfit the CTV Olympic Broadcast Centre, the design, performance and reliability of their products coupled with their ability to consistently meet a stringent delivery schedule, made AVP an obvious choice."

All of us at AVP are thrilled to know that our products manufactured here in Canada, assisted in the worldwide broadcast of this global event. Congratulations to CTV for a job well done and to all of our Olympic athletes for a successful 2010 Winter Games!
